I have had several opportunities to photograph Sydni and she is always so much fun. She will be graduating from Searcy High School this spring and these are just a few of our images from her senior pictures session. I enjoy collaborating on creative photos and I loved all of the ideas that she had. Her wardrobe selections were perfect for the locations that she picked. We photographed her in an old country feed store, an open field, a yard full of antique vehicles, a skate park, an outdoor stage plus several more locations.
If you would like to see more of my Senior Pictures visit my website http://www.ddh-photo.com and click on the Seniors tab. If you would like to discuss scheduling your own creative Senior Picture Session you can send an email to me at [email protected] . I look forward to hearing from you!
Giggles abound!! I had so much fun photographing this pretty 2014 Searcy Ar. Riverview senior. Mariah's mom came along to add her support and a helping hand. Mariah's sister also jumped in to help and added lots of giggles to a fun afternoon. We used several locations around Searcy's courhouse square, and a few back alleys too.
As I sit here typing this we are experiencing another early 2014 ice storm, but this cold weather is about over. It's time to start thinking about setting up your spring portrait sessions. My photography schedule will fill quickly when warm weather returns so reserve a date for your session now.
Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, ages and styles, and this beautiful young woman is more than a little bit country. I had so much fun doing this themed photo session! Country is not an avocation for Cassie, it is her occupation. She is most at home when she is in the saddle rounding up cattle.
This is a natural light image, but my studio lighting equipment is portable and I take it on location throughout central Arkansas - and beyond. This photography session was on a ranch south east of Little Rock in a rural area next to the Arkansas River. I always like to have lighting options with me. When the available light is as beautiful as it is here, I use it. When the available light just is not quite right I set up my strobes, soft boxes and umbrellas to create light that flatters my subjects.
This photo is from Searcy's Center on the Square dinner theater's new production, Sylvia.
This production brings new talent onto our local stage and is a 'can't miss it' performance. If you would like to see more images from the production click on the Community tab above, then open the Center on the Square group.

I hear voices. Some of those voices drive me a little crazy!
I frequently hear compliments about my photography, and I sincerely appreciate every one. I also hear comments that frustrate me. They go a little like this -- 'I would schedule a session, but I am not pretty like others you work with'. -- Every time I hear that it makes me a little, a little, well a little crazy!
The women I photograph are pretty. They are pretty as they naturally are, and they are pretty when they are all 'glammed up' for a photo session. Professional makeup, hair styling, lighting and photography does not make a person pretty. It just enhances beauty that is already there, and I believe that everyone is beautiful.
I have decided to add a Before/After page to my website. I have added these composites to encourage women who think - 'I am not pretty' - to take time to rediscover their beauty that may have been forgotten.
Click on the Before/After tab at the top of this page to see more composites. Use the Contact tab if you have questions, or if you would like to schedule your photo session.
